Day 1: Arrive Ulaanbaatar and Depart for the South and Enter the Gobi
- Transfer to Baga gazariin Chuluu in Dundgovi province.
- Explore the area with temples, rock paintings, rocks and mineral springs.
- Overnight in a yurt camp or with a nomad family. (Transfer: 180 km)
Day 2: Tsagaan Suvarga
- Visit the white cliffs of Tsagaan Suvarga, famous for their bright colors and spectacular landscapes.
- Explore the surrounding area and unique landscapes.
- Overnight in a standard yurt camp. (Total transfer: 300 km)
Day 3: Yol Canyon
- Hike to Yol Canyon, famous for its ice cord that persists even in summer.
- Explore the narrow and deep canyon, with streams and breathtaking landscapes.
- Overnight with a nomad family.
Day 4-5: Khongor Dunes & Camel Ride
- Visit the Khongor Dunes, the largest in Mongolia, with dunes reaching 200 meters high.
- Camel ride on the dunes and explore the surrounding area.
- Overnight in a standard yurt camp. (Total transfer: 210 km)
Day 6: Bayanzag
- Visit the famous orange cliffs of Bayanzag, with landscapes reminiscent of Arizona.
- Explore the paleontological site and unique rock formations.
- Overnight with a nomad family.
Day 7: Ongi Monastery
- Visit the Ongi Monastery, once one of the largest and most respected in Mongolia.
- Explore the historical and cultural sites of the area.
- Overnight with a nomad family.
Day 8-9: Orkhon Valley and Waterfall
- Visit the mythical waterfall of the Orkhon Valley, an emblem of the region.
- Horseback riding in the area and exploration of Mongolian nomadic culture.
- Overnight stay in a nomadic family near the waterfall.
Day 10: Tuvkhun Monastery
- Excursion to the Tuvkhun Monastery, founded in 1654 by Zanabazar, an important figure in Mongolian Buddhism.
- Trek in the surrounding area and explore the wilderness.
- Overnight stay in a yurt camp.
Day 11: Karakorum and Museum
- Visit the ancient city of Karakorum, once the capital of the Mongol Empire.
- Explore the archaeological remains and visit the local museum.
- Overnight stay in a yurt camp.
Day 12: Tsenkher Hot Springs
- Visit and relax in the natural springs of Tsenkher.
- Overnight stay with a nomad family near the springs.
Day 13: Khorgo Uul Volcano and Trekking
- Excursion to Khorgo Uul volcano and Terkhiin Tsagaan lake, in the heart of the national park.
- Trekking in the volcanic area and exploring the surrounding nature.
- Overnight stay in a yurt camp.
Day 14: Shine Ider Village
- Visit to Shine Ider village, located halfway between Terkhiin and Moron.
- Evening spent in a local yurt camp near Zuun Nuur pond.
Day 15: Visit Khatgal and Khuvsgul Lake
- Visit to Khatgal village on the edge of Khuvsgul lake, known as "the blue pearl of Mongolia".
- Explore the lake and possibility of horseback riding or walking along the shore.
- Overnight stay in a yurt camp.
Day 16-17: Day at Khuvsgul Lake and Visit with Tsaatan
- A day of relaxation and exploration of the area around Khuvsgul Lake.
- Possibility to interact with the community of Tsaatan, nomadic herders of the area.
- Overnight stay in a yurt camp.
Day 18: Uran Togoo
- Excursion to the Uran Togoo volcano, located in the Uran Togoo & Tulga Uul National Park.
- Trekking in the area and exploring the volcanic nature.
- Overnight stay in a yurt camp.
Day 19: Visit to Amarbayasgalant Monastery
- Visit Amarbayasgalant Monastery, one of the largest and most respected monasteries in Mongolia.
- Explore the historical and cultural sites of the area.
- Overnight stay with a nomadic family.
Day 20-21: Return to Ulaanbaatar
- Transfer to Ulaanbaatar and check into your hotel.
- Evening show and free time for final exploration of the city.
- Depart for the airport in the early morning.
End of the program.
