DAY 1: ARRIVAL & JOURNEY TO BAGA GAZRIIN CHULUU
Welcome to Mongolia. After landing, we'll head to the granite formations of Baga Gazriin Chuluu. You'll explore the ruins of an ancient temple nestled among the sacred rocks, where legend has it that Genghis Khan took refuge, and enjoy a hike through the secrets of this natural amphitheater. Overnight at a ger camp.
DAY 2: TSAGAAN SUVARGA – THE WHITE STUPA CLIFFS
Journey south to admire the imposing Tsagaan Suvarga, an ancient seabed sculpted by the wind into spectacular shapes. Walking along the canyon's edges, you'll be enchanted by the pink and ochre hues of the rocks, reminiscent of a ghost town of white stupas. Overnight at a gher camp.
DAY 3: YOL CANYON – THE DESERT ICE FIELD
Explore the Gurvan Saikhan Mountains National Park to discover the Valley of the Yol. After visiting the nature museum, you'll hike into the deep canyon where the ice resists even the desert sun, creating a unique and breathtaking microclimate. Overnight with a nomadic ger family.
DAY 4-5: KHONGOR DUNES – THE SINGING SANDS
Arrive at the spectacular Khongor dunes, the highest in Mongolia. Experience the thrill of a camel caravan and climb the sandy ridges to hear the "song" of the dunes and enjoy sweeping views of the Gobi Desert. Overnight at a ger camp.
DAY 6: BAYANZAG – THE FLAMING CLIFFS
Depart for Bayanzag, the legendary site where Roy Chapman Andrews discovered the first dinosaur eggs. As the sun sets, the cliffs glow a deep red, offering an unparalleled visual spectacle as you walk in the footsteps of these Cretaceous giants. Overnight at a gher camp.
DAY 7: ONGI MONASTERY – HISTORY BY THE RIVER
Visit the evocative ruins of Ongi Monastery, once one of Mongolia's greatest Buddhist centers. Explore the temple ruins on the banks of the Ongi River, reflecting on the resilient history of this sacred site during the golden hour of sunset. Overnight at a ger camp.
DAY 8-9: ORKHON VALLEY & WATERFALL (UNESCO)
Immerse yourself in the Orkhon Valley (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). You'll ride through the green meadows to the famous waterfall, experiencing the authentic hospitality of nomadic herders and sleeping under a blanket of stars. Overnight stay with a nomadic ger family.
DAY 10: TUVKHUN MONASTERY – THE MOUNTAIN SANCTUARY
Excursion to the monastery founded in 1654 by Zanabazar. You'll trek through fragrant larch forests to reach this spiritual refuge nestled in the rock, with views stretching across the endless taiga. Overnight stay with a nomadic ger family.
DAY 11: KARAKORUM – LEGEND OF THE GREAT KHANS
Arrive in Karakorum, the ancient capital founded in 1220. You will visit the modern archaeological museum and the Erdene Zuu Monastery, where the majesty of the 108 stupas encapsulates centuries of prayer and the imperial glory of the Mongolian nation. Overnight at a ger camp.
DAY 12: TSENKHER HOT SPRINGS
Total regeneration in the natural thermal waters. After days of adventure, you can relax in the hot pools surrounded by forests, experiencing pure Alpine wellness. Overnight stay at the Gher camp.
DAY 13: KHORGO VOLCANO & TERKHIIN TSAGAAN LAKE
Climb to the crater of the extinct Khorgo volcano. Explore lava caves and hike along the shores of the "Great White Lake," a natural jewel created by ancient volcanic eruptions. Overnight at a gher camp.
DAY 14: JARGALANT – THE NORTHERN GATEWAY
Continue your journey to the northern regions, crossing breathtaking mountain passes. Overnight in a traditional ger camp under an unforgettable starry sky, far from any light pollution.
DAY 15 & 16: KHATGAL – THE GATEWAY TO THE BLUE PEARL
Arrive on the shores of the majestic Lake Khuvsgul. You'll contemplate the immensity of this crystalline body of water and begin your exploration through coniferous forests and cobalt-blue waters. Overnight at a ger camp.
DAY 17: URAN TOGOO VOLCANO – A NATURAL GARDEN
Visit the Uran Togoo Nature Reserve. You will hike along the crest of the perfectly circular crater, admiring the rich biodiversity of this ancient volcano transformed into a green paradise. Overnight at a gher camp.
DAY 18: AMARBAYASGALANT MONASTERY
Discover an 18th-century architectural masterpiece. You'll explore the finely decorated temples of this sacred complex, located in a secluded valley where devotion resonates among the mountains. Overnight at a gher camp.
DAY 19-20: ULAANBAATAR – CULTURAL GRAND FINALE
Return to the capital for some final cashmere shopping and a harmonic singing performance. After a final celebratory dinner, you'll be escorted to the airport, filled with memories of the Land of the Eternal Blue Sky. Overnight stay at a hotel***.
